It has been such a joy getting to know Morgan & Matthew and being able to capture such a beautiful day in their lives! From our first meeting, to their engagement session and wedding and every conversation in between, their thoughtful, sweet and completely genuine personalities have shown through.
Their wedding, which took place at Bethany Lutheran Church and Camelot Ballroom in Overland Park, was filled with over 300 of their family and friends, and Morgan and Matthew took time to greet each one. (I told you they were awesome!) Sunflowers were incorporated into the decor since it is Morgan & Matthews favorite flower and the sunny yellow hue seemed to pop perfectly off their navy and grey color scheme. Of course with so many close friends and family, you’re bound to have a grand bridal party and Morgan & Matthew’s closest friends sported colorful sunglasses and awesome reception entrances to help make the day even more fun.
One of my favorite parts of the day, which I (surprisingly!) haven’t seen at any other wedding, were the slideshows that went along with each of the first dances. How could you not get choked up when watching a father/daughter dance with a picture of Morgan when she was younger on the shoulders of her dad at a game or a mother/son dance with Matthew as a baby snuggled up sleeping on his mom?! So sweet! The day was so full of love, not only between Morgan & Matthew, but between everyone celebrating this day with them. Here’s a sneak peek!
Congrats again Morgan & Matthew! Thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding!
