It was a gorgeous day for Chandler and Nate’s wedding at Christ Community’s Brookside Campus.  The sun was out and with the slight breeze, it was a perfect day to be outdoors.  Everything about Chandler and Nate’s wedding seemed so stress free and relaxed from the easy going bridal party to and the couples’ sweet demeanor, to the seamless transitions throughout the day and the fun sendoff at the reception; this was such a low-key and beautiful wedding to photograph.

Chandler and Nate were surrounded by their loving, close knit families (Chandler is one of eight kids and Nate is one of four!) and it was fun to see these families interact with each other and celebrate together.  The ceremony featured Chandler and Nate’s vows they wrote for each other, which were so heartfelt, along with a gorgeous choral piece from their friends from Bob Jones University where the couple met and where Chandler studied vocal music.

The reception, held at the Ball Conference Center in Olathe, was a memorable afternoon filled with touching speeches from each of their dads and two of Chandlers’ sisters.  Friends and family mingled while taking advantage of the photo booth and writing the couple words of advice for the future. But the icing on the (wedding) cake was their send off filled with big cheers and well wishes from those closest to them.
