Kelsey & James’ love story seems to be right out of a book.  They grew up going to the same school in Warrensburg, but it wasn’t until their college years at the University of Central Missouri that they really took notice of each other.  They began dating and the rest was history!  With their wedding just around the corner in July, they decided it was only fitting that their engagement pictures be taken at the place where they fell in love… UCM’s gorgeous campus.

It was fun getting to know this laid back couple as we ventured around campus taking pictures.  Even their adorable pup Bella joined in for a few shots!  The looming rain clouds didn’t seem to phase them and it was only when we were wrapping up the session that it began to rain.  (Perfect timing!)  It’s always fun seeing how couples interact, and with Kelsey and James, their at-ease style and the way James made Kelsey smile made our time fly by and made it truly a joy to work with them!  I also loved that since Kelsey’s idea to incorporate an apple into some shots since her passion is teaching!
