“I didn’t want a wedding,’ stated Elizabeth to her guests at her reception, but went on to explain that more than anything, she wanted to be surrounded by her community to celebrate this moment in she and Rob’s lives. And that’s exactly what this was: a truly joyful celebration amongst family and friends.
The day was brisk, but the impending winter storm held off and the sun broke through and filled the space at 2016 Main with tons of natural light just in time for Elizabeth and Rob’s first look. Their excitement for their day was evident as they anticipated that first glimpse of each other, and Rob’s response to seeing his beautiful bride was pure joy.
Rob and Elizabeth knew each other years ago while working as therapists on a ranch in Arizona, however, it wasn’t until Rob reached out over social media a little over a year ago on Elizabeth’s birthday that their friendship was reignited and their new story began.
Their love for each other and their friends and family was seen throughout the day in various details. From Elizabeth wearing her mom’s fur shrug, to incorporating her grandmother’s silver tray and horse brooch, to Elizabeth’s community group praying over her before the ceremony at Pilgrim Chapel, and the sweetest first dance between Rob and his daughter… this day was filled with warmth and love.
Enjoy this sneak peek into their special day!
Congrats again Elizabeth & Rob! Thank you for allowing me to capture such an amazing day in your lives!
