When Emily & Nathan met at their friends wedding, little did they know they’d be engaged just nine months later.  And even though Nathan lived in Michigan and Emily lived in Kansas; their love grew quickly despite the long distance.  This sweet couple just lights up whenever they’re around each other and Emily & Nathan always find ways to make each other laugh.  It’s fun to see their playfulness from Emily making Nathan wait at the first look and teasing him with questions before she let him turn around, to him not being afraid to smash a little cake on her nose during the cake cutting.  Emily & Nathan know how to have fun together and their wedding day was light hearted and filled with lots of laughter with family and friends.

Their ceremony took place at Central Church of the Nazarene in Lenexa that featured a stunning high ceiling with stained glass, and the reception followed at The Ironhorse Golf Club’s new venue Vista 154 that offered sweeping views of the golf course.  This gorgeous fall wedding boasted pops of wine color and touches of pink, fresh eucalyptus leaves and gold accents.  The bridal party was filled with siblings, close friends and the cutest little kids who were full of personality that made the day a joy to capture.
