It was easy to see when I first began photographing Kelsey & James’ engagement session, that this was a couple who truly made each other happy and it was a joy to capture one of the biggest days of their lives a few weeks ago.

Since Kelsey and James both grew up and met at High School in Warrensburg, it was only fitting that their wedding day take place at both of their families churches- Community of Christ and the historic First Christian Church.  Both churches hold such a special place in their hearts and it was a fun celebration of the start of their lives together. 

From the historic Warrrensburg setting, the backdrop of stained glass in the first look and accents of lace and pearls throughout the day; to the timeless navy, pink and gold color scheme, the classic getaway car and the garden-party feel of the reception; the elegant vintage theme made this a beautiful wedding.  And while every detail fit together so well, it was Kelsey and James being surrounded by family and friends that created the perfect atmosphere to celebrate.
