Oh, where to begin…. Danielle & Travis are just awesome people.  Period.  If you spend any amount of time with this couple, you’ll see that their love for each other and warm hearts for anyone they meet is infectious and you just want to be around them.

I first met Danielle through photographing her sister Bethany’s engagement and wedding.  Danielle sang a gorgeous rendition of “I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You” at Bethany & Denny’s wedding that brought everyone to tears.  She celebrated her sister’s big day by being a huge support as her maid of honor and the two danced the night away in true sister fashion.

When I heard from Danielle that she was engaged and wanted me to capture their engagement and wedding; I was thrilled!  I’m so honored to be a part of documenting this amazing time in Travis and Danielle’s lives.  Their journey over the next year includes Danielle moving out to Seattle while Travis finished out his medical residency.  Then directly after their wedding next August the newlyweds will move to Albuquerque New Mexico for Travis to start his radiology residency.  What a whirlwind full of adventure over the next year!  I’m so excited to be a small part of this fun time in their lives!

Here’s a little peak at Danielle & Travis’ fun engagement session at The Nelson Atkins and the River Market!  These two graciously switched days for their session due to rain in the forecast and even though we were chasing daylight to squeeze their session in before Travis flew back to Seattle; they just went with it and made it such an easy session with lots of laughter and love.  Even their adorable fur babies Einstein and Otis made a special appearance.  Enjoy!
