It was a brisk (28 degree) morning when I met up with Jenni and Nate for their engagement session. And, even though none of us were expecting it to be such a chilly day, Jenni and Nate were amazing and didn’t complain once. In fact, they were excited when it started snowing and we were able to get a few shots in the beautiful, light flurries. (But, what else would I expect from such an awesome, laid back couple?)
We started at the Nelson Atkins Museum and had the entire place to ourselves. And, of course, what’s a visit to the Nelson without a few photos by the shuttlecocks. 🙂 It was fun to watch Jenni and Nate interact as they are just so natural together… and in front of the camera! We then ventured down to the West Bottoms and had a great time finding different backdrops of graffiti, abandoned buildings, brightly colored doors and remnants of railroad tracks.
Here’s a quick peak of their session!
I have enjoyed getting to know Jenni and Nate and can’t wait for their wedding next October!
